Mystery Outsource is a mystery shopping Services Company providing project management, scheduling, recruitment, allocation and reporting services for clients within the mystery shopping, market research and training industries.

By applying to become a mystery shopper with Mystery Outsource, you agree to have your personal details held on our database.

These details will never be given away, rented or sold to third parties.  By the nature of our business, however, we will from time to time ask your permission to transfer your details to a client or associates site in order that the results of your allocated visit(s) can be entered directly onto their system(s).


Accessibility of data

Clients of Mystery Outsource do not have access to your personal data.

Demographic information (age, gender, geographic location etc.) will be available to clients on a report-by-report basis but will not be identifiable as belonging to a named individual without their prior consent.

Assignments where information that can identify the shopper is used, no contact will be made by our client’s or their end users unless the individual mystery shopper has granted permission.

Cookies

Mystery Outsource and Prophet use "cookies" to gather statistical information and to provide enhanced functionality for users.

Users can decline the cookies by adjusting the "accept cookies" setting on their browser, however this may affect the functionality of the Prophet site and prevent mystery shoppers from completing assignments.

Mystery Outsource also use cookies and gather IP address information to give a statistical overview about how the site is used.

Mystery Outsource do not use this code to collect any personally identifiable information about mystery shoppers or site visitors.

Security and Storage of data

All mystery shopper data is securely held on the Mystery Outsource Prophet system using the same system for secure data storage and management as the U.S. Marines, the U.S. Army and over 80% of all Fortune 100 companies.

Amending or deleting your data

The Prophet system allows you to amend or delete your information yourself by logging into your personal home page.  Once Mystery Outsource has accepted you as a mystery shopper, you may change your password as often as you like.  This password is encrypted and is not known by Mystery Outsource.


Sale or transfer of Mystery Outsource

In the event that Mystery Outsource is sold, disposed of as a going concern or merged with another company, our mystery shopper database may be transferred as part of that transaction and your information accessed by such successor or purchaser.
